I have not much time to take picture recently and as I was scanning photos on my computer, I came across these Pond Lilies shots. I remembered taking them. When I focused on the purple flowers in front, the Pond Lilies were not in focus. When I focused on the Pond Lilies, the purple flowers were not in focused.
I merged the two photos in Photoshop Elements using the 'layers' function. Simply put, I put one photo one top of the other and erased the unfocused area of the top photo, which allowed the focused area of the bottom photo to be visible. I put a vignette on the finished photo to cause one's eye to fixate on the center of the photo.
Here is the result. (I included the two working photos to show the difference in the focused point)
Focused on the purple flower
Focused on the Pond Lily

The colors are amazing and I honestly have never seen a group of lily pad like that, all together... did you place them that way? LOL
ReplyDelete"What you see is what you get." That is how they are. Although, they could have bee planted that way in the pond, which is a man-made pond at Gibbs Garden.
