This should be the last post until we arrive in Ireland on Thursday morning. I took the pictures, of the Monet Bridge at Gibbs Gardens, immediately before a Bluegrass band started to play. Check out the schedule of special events.
Same bridge, but two different compositions; each leaving me with different thoughts. To me, the first pictures leaves me with thoughts of beauty and the second photo leaves me imagining a story, albeit, one from a Romance Novel...
What are you thoughts?

I came across a photo processing software entitled Goggle NIX, which has a number of 'presets' that. by just clicking, changes the photo. It is free!
These photos are processed in the HDR Collection, however, there are more collections available that render different effects.
The following flower photo was taken in our back yard. The first photo is right out of the camera...no editing. The second photo is the "Soft" preset, then the "Deep 1", the "Dramatic", and lastly, the "BS Artistic".
For a better view, click once on one of the pictures.

The Water Lilies did not come out as well as I hoped, particularly when I had them printed. So, I had an opportunity to go back to Gibbs Gardens for some more pictures of Water Lilies.
Yes, I did do some post processing...some on more than on others. There are two pictures of flowers that caught my eye as I was leaving.

These two photos have a slight difference and without telling what that is, do you prefer one (top) over the other (bottom)? I am having both printed and I am not sure which would be the better of the two. I thought that I knew which one I preferred over the other, but doubt entered my mind. Help!!!
The picture was taken at Gibbs Garden in the LiIy Pond and cropped quite a bit. I could not get close enough to take a close-up of the flower petals.

We took a couple of hours on Saturday to go to Gibbs Garden so I could take shots of a couple of scenes, the Monet Bridge and the Japanese Gardens,
I am looking forward to going back soon to take more pictures of the bridge when the Hydrangeas are blossoming in the background. It is wonderful to have Season Passes and to live an half hour away.
The first picture, of Linda reading, while sitting on a bench is not out of boredom. She is letting me have whatever time I need to take the pictures that I want.
Then, there is the Monet Bridge, with Red Maples in the background. The trees have past their prime color, but are still beautiful.
The last two pictures were taken in the Japanese Gardens. I love the reflections.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Gibbs Garden??? No, but these are the flowers that are in blossom in our backyard.
We did go to Gibbs Garden yesterday for a couple of hours. I had specific shots that I wanted to take and the weather was perfect for a late afternoon adventure. I will post some photos in the next few days.
