These are a few pictures as we went to see a ancient fort on Inishmoor, one of the Aran Islands.

The road on which we traveled is a two-way road, albeit, one lane wide.

The path to the old fort was moderate on the first half and then became more difficult on the remainder.

This is Linda's version of a 'Touch-down' celebration.  Always cute and always feminine!!!

This is as close as I got to the edge.  Did I hear someone say, "Cluck-cluck-cluck?'

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Yesterday, Linda went with a couple of neighbors to an antique shop.  So, I headed off to Gibbs Garden.  I enjoy taking pictures there, even if I have taken it before.  Each time presents itself with something unique.  A few steps to the left or a few to the right changes perspective.

I like the reflections on the Japanese Garden ponds, the Hydrangeas, the Monet Bridge, and so many other things that are there.

June 16, 2016

These photos were taken in Dublin.  We drove there the day before we flew back home.  The photos that are out of doors were taken on Fleet Street, which is a classier place tha Quay Street in Galway.  Both areas are loaded with bars, pubs, restaurants, and people.

The other pictures are of the interior of St. Patrick's Cathedral that has so much history associated with it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ireland and are thankful to be able to go there.

 Day 7 (Part 2)

These photos are from the bottom of the Cliffs of Moher.  We took a boat excursion to get a different perspective.  Toward the end of the pictures, there is a an outcropping from the water where three different species of bird dwell.  It appears from the close-up, that these birds are segregated in the living quarters.  Each species seems to have its own ledge.

The last picture is at a place where we stopped on the way back to the house that day.  There was a sign indicating that it is For Sale.

Day 7 (Part One)

We went to Limerick to see King John's Castle, which is set up as an history museum.  There are two Graffiti Art pictures, in which I amazed at the talent.

After leaving here, we went back to Doolin to take a boat to see the Cliffs of Moher from the bottom of the cliffs.  These will be posted later.

These are pictures from Days 6 and 8, which are of the colorfulness of some of the buildings in Galway.  There are many row houses that are grey and pastel colored and are not shown.  Yesterday, we went to the Galway Cathedral, which was amazing to me, having never been on the inside of one previously.
