I was looking over the pictures that I posted earlier today and one stood out to me.  It is the picture that I would choose as being the least of those posted.  My mind began to churn, as I studied it, and ...

Linda and I had a little time yesterday to take another quick trip to GIBBS GARDEN, in which the Japanese Maples are in full color.  We went there on October 31 and it is amazing the change in the foliage.

We did not have time to walk up the the Manor, but we were told that the Japanese Maples along the trail are in full bloom as well.  These pictures were taken as we walked out to the Japanese Garden.  We were there for a little over one hour, and these are just a glimpse of what were saw.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Having pictures on the computer is like having photographs in a shoe box.  Often, great lengths of time go by between looking at them.

These are some picture taken in Ireland, most of which I have not shared previously.  Without identifying them, they bring back wonderful memories.

November 19, 2019

It is Saturday, November 19, 2016 and does the tree in the front yard look like the one in the first picture?  Guess what?  Ours does.  I love living in Georgia!

None of the pictures have been 'photo-shopped', other than cropping them to a usable size.

The first picture is of our front yard and the remaining pictures were taken at the Collection, which is a shopping place in Cumming, GA.  The side shot of the tree is of one of the two red trees in the other picture.  The one with the decorated street light in the foreground was taken in front of the theater.

November 14, 2016

We took a trip the Anna Ruby Falls in Helen, GA expecting that the flow of water would not be great, due to the drought in the area.  The falls is almost a half mile up a paved pathway.  It was a beautiful, crisp Fall day.

+ Remember to click on a photo to enlarge them for better viewing and

NOTE:  It could be that you just like it better.

November 12, 2016

The first picture of Ben is of him posing as I ask.  I wanted to use this shot in a project, which I have yet to do.  There isn't a camera that does not like Ben.  He is so photogenic.

There is a difference in the second picture.  I installed the latest version of Photoshop Elements 15 and on of the new features is 'facial enhancements.'  It is not a magician, so I did not try any pictures of myself on it.

I made 3 adjustments; lips, which is the most obvious, eyes, and chin.

I have taken this picture a number of times in the past.  The first time was in the rain as David Ceraso held the umbrella over me.  The location is on the right side of the road as you leave Highlands, NC headed back over Scaly Mountain toward Dillard GA.

If you would like to take this picture... you cannot.  The shop, in the background, has closed and the truck is no longer there.

Take the picture while you can.  I have had it happen whereby I said to myself, "Self, you have to go back someday to take that picture."  When someday came, it was no longer there.  There are situations when you cannot stop, but when you can...
