July 20, 2016

I have shown the results of editing photos and, although this may be a repeat, the steps are different in the processing of these.

The best time to take photos out of doors is in the morning and late afternoon, when the sun has not risen.  Often, photos have a 'cast' on then when taken with the sun is bright and higher in the sky.  This same effect happens when taking pictures through glass. possibly at a zoo.

These are 'Before & After" photos.  The first was taken from our patio of our backyard.

The next was taken in St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland.  It was a side room and the sun bleached our the colors in the 'Before' picture.  With a click, I was able to straighten the columns.  The columns in the first picture tilt in toward each other at the top, which is called 'keystone effect.'
