August 7, 2016

I had a couple of hours yesterday, so I went to Gibbs Garden and on the way home, I stopped at Poole's Mill, which has a covered bridge.  It is also a popular swimming hole.  It was very, very popular yesterday.  Not preferring to have many, if any, people in my pictures, I was limited on taking pictures.

When I went out, I had two purposes in mind,  First, I was going to use just one lens.  One that I would not normally use in taking landscape pictures.  It is a very wide angle lens and to get the composition that you deem best, you have to move toward or back from the subject.  You cannot just zoom in or out as if you were using a zoom lens.

Secondly, I wanted to take pictures from different angles.  For example, I have taken many pictures of the Monet Bridge, one of my favorite shots, but not from the position of today's shots.
