We went to Gibbs Gardens after church yesterday for lunch and to enjoy the gardens. It is about ten miles from our home and having a Season Pass ($50.00 each) makes it great for a quick getaway.
Only one picture today, but I will post more, hopefully, by tomorrow. This picture is of the Monet Bridge, an exact replica, the Lily Pond, and with some of the many Red Maples, of which I was told that there are thousand and that the springtime, as well as the fall, are great times for viewing.
Remember to click on the photo to enlarge it.
Here are added pictures from yesterday. I have taken this brook a number of times and never cease to enjoy it. The picture that follows is from a different angle.
The Water Lillies are beginning to blossom.
This is a Chinese Snowball Viburnum.
The next picture is a variety of Rhododendron and then an Azalea.
another gorgeous place and that is so cool that they replicated the Monet bridge!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the additional pictures! What a beautiful place... I can't wait for things to start blooming in New England!
